Our global development team consists of approximately 100 employees across three locations: Waldkirch, Singapore, and Minneapolis. Together, we work on interdisciplinary projects to successfully develop our products in the field of Photoelectric Sensors & Fibers. YOUR TASKS:

  • As the Head of Photoelectric Sensors & Fibers - R&D, you will be responsible for the strategic and operational development and leadership of research and development within the Photoelectric Sensors & Fibers division
  • Together with the Product Management and Operations leads, you will manage this division as part of the management team
  • You will strategically align the division as part of the company to provide strategic impulses for future growth
  • You will also lead an interdisciplinary and global team both professionally and disciplinarily
  • You will initiate and manage the development of successful and innovative products and be responsible for the further development of platforms
  • You will conduct customer projects to identify trends and implement new solutions
  • You will motivate project teams to apply agile methods and promote collaboration within the company in the context of digitalization
  • You will work successfully with internal and external interfaces worldwide
  • Additionally, you will assume business, budget, and cost center responsibilities

 

YOUR PROFILE:

  • You have a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Microsystems Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable qualification
  • Your many years of relevant professional experience in leading interdisciplinary and global development areas provide you with valuable expertise
  • You have industry experience in industrial automation, industrial sensor technology, and digital technologies
  • Your experience also includes managing large development projects and collaborating in international networks
  • You possess good German and fluent English skills
  • Your structured, analytical, entrepreneurial, and innovative thinking and working style round out your profile
