Job Description
Mandatory internship in logistics - with a focus on the control center

Winter semester 2026/2027 – fixed term of 5–6 months

 

YOUR TASKS:

  • Actively support the management of daily operations and the on-time delivery of customer orders in the fully automated SICK Distribution Center in Waldkirch-Buchholz
  • Participate in coordination meetings for daily and capacity planning
  • Collaborate with the operational team leads on daily planning (prioritization) and daily coordination (workforce planning)
  • Familiarize yourself with the warehouse management system and initiate appropriate actions in case of bottlenecks
  • Maintain and optimize parameter settings
  • Provide first-level support in case handling and support process-related analysis of incidents
  • Create key performance indicators for order forecasting and get familiar with SAP modules (COP & EWM)

 

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Bachelor’s degree studies in Business Administration, Business Informatics, or a comparable field
  • High affinity for IT applications; ideally, you have initial experience with SAP
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • A customer-focused and solution-oriented working style
  • An independent and reliable way of working
