Job Description
Mandatory internship in logistics - focus on control center*

Winter Semester 2025/26 – Fixed-term for 5–6 months


YOUR TASKS:

  • Actively contribute to managing operations and ensuring on-time delivery of customer orders at SICK’s fully automated distribution center in Buchholz
  • Participate in coordination meetings for daily and capacity planning
  • Collaborate with operational team leaders on daily planning (prioritization) and coordination (staff deployment)
  • Familiarize yourself with the warehouse management system and initiate appropriate measures in case of bottlenecks
  • Maintain optimized parameter settings
  • Provide first-level support for issue resolution and assist in analyzing process disruptions
  • Create key performance indicators for order forecasting and gain experience with SAP modules (COP & EWM)


YOUR PROFILE:

  • Enrolled in a degree program in Business Administration, Business Informatics, or a related field
  • Affinity for IT applications; ideally, initial experience with SAP
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Customer- and solution-oriented approach
  • Independent and structured working style
