Job Description
Mandatory Internship in Logistics - Focus on the Control Center

Summer Semester 2027 - limited to 5-6 months

 

YOUR TASKS:

  • Actively support the management of operational processes and the on-time delivery of customer orders from the fully automated SICK distribution center in Waldkirch-Buchholz

  • Participate in coordination meetings for daily operations and capacity planning

  • Work closely with operational team leaders on daily planning, including prioritization and workforce allocation

  • Familiarize yourself with the warehouse management system and initiate appropriate measures in the event of capacity bottlenecks

  • Maintain optimized parameter settings

  • Provide first-level support in resolving operational issues and assist with process analyses of disruptions

  • Create key figures for order forecasting and familiarize yourself with SAP modules, particularly COP and EWM

 

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, or a comparable field

  • Affinity for IT applications; initial knowledge of SAP is an advantage

  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills

  • Customer- and solution-oriented approach

  • Independent and self-motivated way of working
