Job Description
Mandatory internship/thesis: Development of an engine test unit

The aim of the work is to develop a test unit that can be used to simulate various fault conditions in electric motors, such as bearing defects, imbalance, or misalignment. This will enable vibration sensors to be tested and evaluated under realistic conditions.

 

YOUR TASKS:

  • Familiarize yourself with the problem statement and technical requirements
  • Select suitable components for the test bench
  • Design and build the test unit
  • Conduct laboratory experiments for sensor characterization

 

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Degree program in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable field
  • Basic knowledge of motor control
  • Ideally, experience in condition monitoring of electric drives
  • Independent and structured way of working
  • Interest in hands-on development work and test setups
