In-House Counsel - Specializing in Labor Law (f/m/d)

YOUR TASKS:

  • Advise People Business Partners, managers and specialist departments on all individual and collective employment law matters
  • Shape and support cooperation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as well as negotiations on works agreements, group works agreements and company-wide works agreements
  • Support collective bargaining negotiations, conciliation and arbitration proceedings, as well as other matters subject to co-determination
  • Support and manage complex HR measures, restructuring projects, operational changes, transfers of business and M&A projects
  • Handle employment law proceedings, represent the company in court and manage external law firms
  • Ensure employment law compliance and continuously develop governance structures, policies and documentation standards
  • Identify and assess employment law risks, conduct risk assessments and develop appropriate measures for sustainable risk management
  • Support international employment law matters and contribute to strategic HR and organizational initiatives

 

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Successfully completed degree in Law, ideally with a focus on employment law
  • Several years of professional experience in employment law, for example in a company, association or law firm
  • Sound knowledge of individual and collective employment law as well as works constitution law
  • Experience working with employee representative bodies and handling challenging negotiation situations
  • Very good written and spoken English skills
  • Strong communication and advisory skills, as well as negotiation skills and assertiveness
  • Confident appearance, a high degree of initiative and an enthusiasm for complex legal and organizational issues
  • Structured, solution-oriented and responsible approach to work
