As part of the extended management team within the Global Supply business cluster, you will take on responsibility for the quality function. In this central role, you will work closely with the central quality department as well as with the quality teams of the product-generating units. Furthermore, you will actively shape the strategic development of the Global Supply business cluster with a focus on quality. You will collaborate closely with our international sites within the Intelligent Supply Network (ISN), promoting global networking and harmonization of quality standards.
YOUR TASKS:
- You actively contribute to the implementation of the global quality strategy and drive the further development of the quality management system within the Global Supply business cluster.
- You assume overall responsibility for the quality of the product and parts portfolio throughout the entire lifecycle (Make & Buy) – including supplier quality.
- You lead the quality managers in the respective units and serve as the central point of contact for the central quality department as well as for the quality teams of the product-generating units.
- You ensure production, product, and supplier quality through close collaboration with international manufacturing sites.
- You guarantee proactive quality planning activities (e.g., FMEA, FAIR) and support the units in quality-related work within development projects.
- You coordinate and support internal and external audits and assist with their organization and follow-up.
- You regularly report on quality-related metrics, develop meaningful performance indicators (KPIs), and provide decision-making support for management.
- You train employees in quality-related methods and techniques and contribute your expertise to cross-functional quality projects.
- You conduct management reviews for the Global Supply business cluster and derive targeted improvement measures.
- You initiate and support sustainable corrective and improvement projects within the Global Supply business cluster.
YOUR PROFILE:
- You have several years of professional experience in quality management, preferably in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- You possess solid knowledge in environmental management and in implementing global quality strategies.
- You have experience in leading quality managers and working with international teams.
- You are confident in handling metrics and performance indicators for managing and evaluating quality.
- You demonstrate proven expertise in organizing, conducting, and supporting audits.
- You impress with strong communication skills, a confident demeanor, and a high level of coordination ability.
- Your working style is independent, structured, and solution-oriented.
- You have the ability to motivate, develop, and inspire employees about quality.
