In this key role, you will strengthen our global governance, support management and the Executive Board in strategic decision-making, and make a significant contribution to the long‑term security and future success of SICK.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• You will develop and lead the internal audit function of the SICK Group in accordance with international standards and best practices.
• You will create a group-wide risk assessment and connect risk management, compliance, and other governance functions.
• You will design risk-based audit plans and conduct internal audits to assess controls, governance, and risk management.
• You will report regularly to senior management, the Executive Board, and the Audit Committee on key developments and audit results.
• You will identify optimization potential and formulate recommendations to strengthen our governance and control systems.
• You will lead an international team of 4–8 employees and manage external service providers.
• You will implement modern audit tools and methodologies such as data analytics and continuous auditing.
• You will act as a sparring partner for management and governance functions, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

YOUR PROFILE

• A degree in business administration, finance, or a comparable qualification.
• More than ten years of relevant professional experience, including at least five years in a leadership role in internal audit, risk management, finance, or governance.
• A strong understanding of governance structures, risk management, and internal control systems.
• Strategic and analytical thinking combined with strong decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a confident presence at all management levels.
• High integrity, confidentiality, and the ability to act as a trusted point of contact.
• Willingness to travel regularly
