Winter Semester 2025/26 - limited to 5-6 months
YOUR TASKS:
- Research existing AI algorithms for image-based object detection and classification.
- Analyze and evaluate these algorithms for their suitability with a high-resolution 3D-ToF camera.
- Select an appropriate external target hardware for algorithmic image processing.
- Define requirements and establish key criteria for system integration.
- Develop a prototype for 3D-supported object recognition and integrate it into the target hardware.
- Test functionality in the lab environment based on defined key parameters.
YOUR PROFILE:
- Studies in computer science, electrical engineering, physics, mechanical engineering, or a similar technical field.
- Basic knowledge in developing and applying AI algorithms, ideally in image-based object detection.
- Experience in programming with Python, C++, or a comparable language.
- Interest in 3D image processing technologies and ToF cameras.
- Independent, structured working style and analytical thinking skills.
YOUR APPLICATION:
- We are looking forward to your online application
- Sarah Disch
- Job-ID 36891
- All applications will be treated confidentially
