Our development team for the configuration and programming of SICK safety controllers consists of experienced application developers and test engineers. Together with our platform team, we are creating a highly integrated engineering tool for SICK safety products. In our agile development environment, we promote personal responsibility, interdisciplinary collaboration, and active knowledge sharing.

 

YOUR TASKS:

  • Take ownership of the application software for programming modular safety controllers.
  • Clarify and document requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain system specifications.
  • Define and further develop the system architecture in collaboration with software and UI architects.
  • Formulate epics and user stories for development teams.
  • Act as the central point of contact and coordinator for agile software development teams.

 

YOUR PROFILE:

  • A degree in mathematics, computer science, or a comparable qualification.
  • Experience in requirements engineering and agile software development.
  • Ideally, knowledge of automation technology and safety sensor technology, or willingness to learn.
  • Strong abstraction skills with a structured and solution-oriented work approach.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of clearly and concisely conveying complex topics.
  • Curious, motivated, and open to new challenges.
  • Independent and proactive mindset to round out your profile.
