The team is part of SICK's global R&D department and is responsible for developing and managing the PLM solution based on the Aras Innovator platform. Ten experienced PLM experts in Waldkirch ensure seamless global integration with other teams. By applying the agile Large-Scale Scrum (LeSS) framework, the team guarantees flexibility, quick adaptability, and continuous improvements in product lifecycle management.


YOUR TASKS:

  • As a PLM Solution Architect*, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing PLM solutions based on the ARAS Innovator platform.
  • You will take charge of the strategic alignment of the entire PLM architecture and shape its technological development.
  • You will analyze and assess business requirements and translate them into initiatives and epics that can be implemented in an agile manner.
  • You will utilize and configure existing ARAS Innovator modules and solutions to efficiently meet specific requirements.
  • In close coordination with internal and external stakeholders, as well as the Solution Owners, you will define PLM solutions for our product development processes.
  • You will design the integration of the ARAS Innovator platform into existing enterprise systems and applications.
  • You will create training and workshops for end users and technical teams.
  • You will assist with troubleshooting and drive continuous improvement of the PLM solutions.


YOUR PROFILE:

  • A degree in computer science, engineering, or a comparable field.
  • You bring broad and solid knowledge of PLM architectures and PLM processes.
  • You have a good understanding of the services and modules of ARAS Innovator.
  • Several years of experience in the implementation and customization of ARAS Innovator.
  • Experience with agile working methods and collaboration with agile teams.
  • Experience with web services and APIs.
  • Fluent in both spoken and written German and English.
  • Strong analytical thinking and solution-oriented mindset.
  • High motivation and persistence in learning new technologies such as GraphDB and AI.
