Our development team consists of approximately 60 employees at the Waldkirch site. Together, we work on successful product development in the field of safety sensor technology through interdisciplinary projects. We are distinguished by our open and solution-oriented collaboration within our network, utilizing both traditional and agile methods. YOUR TASKS:

  • As a Project Manager, you will lead cross-departmental development initiatives in the field of high-tech safety sensor technology with 2D/3D LIDAR.
  • Develop project proposals with comprehensive planning of time-to-market, costs, project organization, technical content, and risk assessment.
  • Organize teamwork and coordinate essential work packages to ensure project success.
  • Conduct active risk management and report project status to management.
  • Oversee approval and certification of features, components, and products.
  • Continuously optimize and shape organizational and development processes within your project environment.

 

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, Microsystems Technology, Physics, or a comparable qualification.
  • Professional experience in project management for component, product, or platform development, ideally in optical sensors, automation, or electrical engineering.
  • Knowledge in developing mechanical or electronic components, embedded software, or sensor technology.
  • Familiarity with configuration and variant management, as well as agile development processes (Scrum).
  • Experience in Functional Safety and the approval and certification of features, components, and products is a plus.
  • Strong interdisciplinary team and communication skills combined with organizational talent.
  • Distinctive structured and self-directed thinking and working methods, along with a sense of responsibility.
  • Ability to motivate a project team and keep a strong focus on achieving project goals.
