Our Master Data Management Material team is responsible for global product data processes. We develop and harmonize master data management across the SICK Group and coordinate experts from central departments and product-generating units. In this role, we shape the central PLM platform and relevant maintenance processes within our SAP systems. Our current focus is on the global implementation of MDG-M on the latest S4/HANA version. We foster open, solution-oriented collaboration within our global network, using both traditional and agile methods.

 

YOUR TASKS:

  • Lead projects in master data management, particularly the implementation of SAP MDG-M.
  • Design and develop processes, methods, and tools to support master data management (Data Governance).
  • Continuously analyze, optimize, and improve existing data processes.
  • Develop and implement data models.
  • Coordinate cross-functional collaboration and lead thematic working groups.


YOUR PROFILE:

  • A degree in a natural or engineering science, such as mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or business informatics, or a comparable qualification.
  • Professional experience, including project management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of data governance and/or MDM systems (SAP MDG is a plus).
  • Experience with ERP and PLM systems is an advantage.
  • Excellent English skills.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to drive collaboration across departments.
  • A structured and self-reliant working style.
