Summer Semester 2025 – fixed-term for 3-6 months
YOUR TASKS:
- You will support the optical and mechanical product development in the field of 2D & 3D vision sensors, including camera systems, barcode readers, and connection devices
- You will have the opportunity to focus on a specific area of interest
- You will create measurement setups and program the associated control processes using MATLAB or Arduino
- You will conduct tests, evaluate tolerances, and create documentation
- You will analyze results using MATLAB
- You will design and document fine mechanical assemblies/components
YOUR PROFILE:
- You are currently studying Optics & Photonics, Mechatronics, Physics, Microsystems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Ideally, you have knowledge in one or more of the following areas: MATLAB, Arduino, tools for optical, thermal, and structural simulations, or CAD
- You have a self-motivated and solution-oriented approach to work
- You enjoy working in an interdisciplinary team
- Your strong communication skills and innovative spirit complete your profile
