YOUR TASKS: 

  • You will develop and validate complex digital FPGAs and embedded processor systems as well as digital function blocks for mixed-signal ASICs 
  • You create and validate specifications for mixed-signal ASICs 
  • You work actively with semiconductor manufacturers 
  • Your area of responsibility includes intensive market observation and sounding out technology trends 
  • You will also anticipate, evaluate and develop new relevant technologies for SICK 
  • You will work in project teams and act as an interface to internal customers and suppliers 

 

YOUR PROFILE:

  • You have a degree in electrical engineering, communications engineering, physics or a comparable qualification
  • Professional and in-depth industry experience in the areas of mixed-signal ASIC, FPGA and semiconductors
  • You have experience in dealing with ASIC or FPGA designs and verification tools 
  • Good knowledge of English 
  • Independent and structured way of working 
  • Good communication skills
  • Willingness to travel internationally rounds off your profile
