  • Conduct literature research on 3D mapping and localization for mobile autonomous robots
  • Select relevant methods for investigation based on a well-founded rationale
  • Implement selected methods for the provided hardware, adapt them, or further develop them
  • Design and conduct experiments to compare different approaches
  • Evaluate the selected methods
  • Document your results in detail


YOUR PROFILE:

  • Enrolled in a degree program in Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Strong programming skills in C++
  • Ideally, knowledge in laser measurement technology, mathematical optimization, or cartography
  • (Very) good English skills
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Independent and structured working style
