Our Global Transportation & Customs team consists of nine experts. We plan, manage and develop global transportation and customs processes and support the harmonization of logistics processes within the SICK Group. Together with the Logistics Processes and Order Processes teams, we define business processes and system integrations in the international trade environment. Our current focus is on the global standardization of customs and transport processes as well as advising various divisions to ensure legally compliant processes. YOUR TASKS:
- Responsible for planning, designing, and implementing processes, systems, and methods in customs and foreign trade, with a focus on export for the global supply network, considering country-specific regulations
- Develop and monitor internal guidelines and process requirements
- Act as the main contact for external customs audits
- Conduct requirement and risk analyses for changes resulting from legal regulations, internal process developments, and customer requirements
- Support internal departments and international subsidiaries with customs-related issues
- Collaborate in interdisciplinary project teams
- Design and conduct training sessions and workshops
YOUR PROFILE:
- Completed studies with a focus on international business administration, foreign trade, or alternatively, vocational training as a freight forwarding specialist with further qualification as a business economist or comparable qualification
- Several years of professional and project management experience in foreign trade and customs
- Experience with SAP (modules GTS and SD)
- Very good English skills
- A structured and independent way of thinking and working
- Willingness to travel and intercultural competence
- Strong team and communication skills
