Job Description
Service Technician - Identification Sensors (f/m/d)

YOUR TASKS:

  • Commission, test, and troubleshoot our systems in the areas of barcode, RFID, and camera technology.
  • Contribute your ideas to projects and help design efficient processes in intralogistics and factory automation.
  • Act as a competent point of contact for our customers on-site for technical questions and provide expert advice on an equal footing.
  • Conduct training sessions and teach our customers and their employees how to use our technologies safely and efficiently.
  • Document your assignments and maintain relevant customer data in the CRM system.
  • Work closely with our colleagues in Technology and Sales.
  • Travel regularly throughout Germany and spend an average of three nights per week away from home.

 

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Degree as a state-certified technician or master craftsman in electrical engineering or a comparable qualification; alternatively, relevant vocational training combined with corresponding professional experience
  • Experience in technical field service, ideally with knowledge of identification and image processing technologies
  • Knowledge of industrial control systems and data processing systems is an advantage
  • Confident use of MS Office and CRM systems
  • Good written and spoken English skills
  • Strong customer orientation, organizational skills, and willingness to travel
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills as well as flexibility
