Service Technician - Identification Sensors (f/m/d)

Work location: Germany-wide

 

SICK Vertriebs-GmbH serves customers across a wide range of industries in the German market and successfully markets all products, services, and solutions from the Factory, Logistics, and Process Automation segments.

 

YOUR TASKS:

  • Commission our systems (barcode, RFID, cameras), test their functionality, and troubleshoot issues
  • Contribute ideas to projects and help design efficient processes in intralogistics and factory automation
  • Serve as a technical point of contact for our customers on site, working with them as equals
  • Deliver training sessions and ensure that our customers and colleagues can use the technology safely and confidently
  • Document service assignments and maintain customer data in CRM systems
  • Work closely with colleagues from Technical Support and Sales
  • Travel regularly throughout Germany, with an average of three overnight stays per week away from home

 

YOUR PROFILE:

  • State-certified technician or master craftsman qualification in electrical engineering or a comparable qualification; alternatively, vocational qualification with relevant professional experience
  • Experience in technical field service, ideally with knowledge of identification and machine vision technologies
  • Knowledge of industrial control systems and data processing systems is an advantage
  • Confident use of MS Office and CRM systems
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Strong customer orientation, excellent organizational skills, and willingness to travel
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills as well as flexibility
