Job Description
Mandatory Internship: Partial Automation of an Optical Measurement System

Summer Semester 2027 – limited to 3–6 months

 

YOUR TASKS:

  • Further develop an existing measurement setup for characterizing optical sensors and assemblies
  • Automate individual processes using motorized rotary tables and actuators
  • Design and construct fixtures to integrate the required measurement and testing equipment into the setup
  • Select suitable measurement and testing equipment and support the procurement process
  • Implement the developed solutions, verify their functionality, and document your results in detail

 

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Studying Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable degree program
  • Initial experience in mechanical design and working with CAD systems
  • Knowledge of MATLAB or Python is an advantage
  • Independent and solution-oriented approach to work
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Innovative mindset and an interest in further developing technical measurement systems
