YOUR TASKS:
- Advise People Business Partners, managers and specialist departments on all individual and collective employment law matters
- Shape and support cooperation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as well as negotiations on works agreements, group works agreements and company-wide works agreements
- Support collective bargaining negotiations, conciliation and arbitration proceedings, as well as other matters subject to co-determination
- Support and manage complex HR measures, restructuring projects, operational changes, transfers of business and M&A projects
- Handle employment law proceedings, represent the company in court and manage external law firms
- Ensure employment law compliance and continuously develop governance structures, policies and documentation standards
- Identify and assess employment law risks, conduct risk assessments and develop appropriate measures for sustainable risk management
- Support international employment law matters and contribute to strategic HR and organizational initiatives
YOUR PROFILE:
- Successfully completed degree in Law, ideally with a focus on employment law
- Several years of professional experience in employment law, for example in a company, association or law firm
- Sound knowledge of individual and collective employment law as well as works constitution law
- Experience working with employee representative bodies and handling challenging negotiation situations
- Very good written and spoken English skills
- Strong communication and advisory skills, as well as negotiation skills and assertiveness
- Confident appearance, a high degree of initiative and an enthusiasm for complex legal and organizational issues
- Structured, solution-oriented and responsible approach to work
