Job Description
Dual study programme 2026: Computer Science - Cyber Security (B.Sc.)*

3-year dual study programme in Computer Science - Cyber Security starting on 01.09.2026 at our Waldkirch location in cooperation with the Mannheim Cooperative State University.
 
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT: 

  • Diverse insights and collaboration in various departments, including Information Technology, Research & Development and Cyber Security
  • Field of activity in the analysis, design and implementation of software solutions in the context of cyber security
  • Assignments in the areas of IT security, app development and encryption
  • Main focus in the area of cyber security with the analysis and architecture of networks and network infrastructure
  • Activities include insights into cryptology, social engineering and digital forensics, applying security by design, working on the development of complex software systems and carrying out penetration tests

  
WHAT YOU NEED: 

  • A-levels, specialised university entrance qualification, university of applied sciences entrance qualification (plus passed delta exam at the DHBW) or comparable training 
  • Strong interest in hacking, data protection and IT infrastructure 
  • Initial programming experience is an advantage
  • Previous knowledge in the field of IT 
  • Good performance in technical subjects such as computer science, maths and English 
  • Analytical skills and high quality awareness 
  • Enthusiasm for innovation and interest in the technologies in our company 
  • Analytical and precise way of working 
  • Ability to work in a team and willingness to take on responsibility 
  • Good command of English
  • Good knowledge of German (language level C1), see admission requirements of the dual university
