Our Global Transportation & Customs team consists of nine experts. We plan, manage and develop global transport and customs processes and support the harmonisation of logistics operations across the SICK Group. Together with the Logistics Processes and Order Processes teams, we define business processes and system integrations in the context of international trade. Our current focus is the global standardisation of customs and transport processes, as well as advising various business units to ensure legally compliant operations. YOUR TASKS:
- Take responsibility for work packages and subprojects in an international supply chain environment
- Manage projects from planning and implementation through to completion, coordinating internal and external stakeholders
- Develop, implement and integrate processes and systems with a focus on foreign trade (export processes in particular)
- Coordinate the rollout of customs and foreign trade processes within a global SAP programme
- Define and document process standards, identify optimisation potential and drive implementation
- Analyse risks and requirements, e.g. due to legal changes, customer demands or process adjustments
- Support audits and coordinate with external partners and service providers
- Work in interdisciplinary teams and support international subsidiaries
- Act as the central interface for internal customers, process departments and IT
YOUR PROFILE:
- Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Logistics or International Business; alternatively, a commercial qualification with further training and relevant project experience
- Several years of project management experience in complex corporate structures or international organisations
- Experience in supply chain management or foreign trade; knowledge of customs processes is an advantage
- Strong SAP expertise, especially in GTS and SD, ideally also MM
- Solid understanding of international trade processes and interfaces with related business areas
- Very good command of English; additional languages are a plus
- Analytical, structured and solution-oriented working style
- Excellent communication skills and confident stakeholder management
- Intercultural competence and willingness to travel
