Job Description
Apprenticeship 2027: IT Specialist system integration (f/m/d)

3-year apprenticeship as an IT specialist system integration* (f/m/d) starting on 1 September 2026 at our Waldkirch site in cooperation with the Walter Rathenau vocational school in Freiburg (block teaching).

 

 

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

  • Diverse insights and collaboration in various departments such as Global IT
  • Extending functions and analysing and rectifying errors in existing projects
  • Application of project planning, implementation and quality assurance methods
  • Presentation of customer solutions and creation of documentation
  • Learning various programming and scripting languages (e.g. Python, Shell)
  • Setting up and maintaining networks
  • Administration of servers and database systems
  • Insights into the basics of cyber security (e.g. pentesting, encryption, firewalls)

 

 

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • Secondary school leaving certificate, university entrance qualification, A-levels or comparable training
  • Basic technical understanding
  • Good knowledge of technical subjects such as computer science, maths and English
  • Interest in network infrastructure and computer hardware
  • Initial experience in programming is an advantage
  • Ability to work independently in accordance with specifications
  • Creativity and motivation
  • Enjoy working in a team
  • German language skills (language level B2 recommended)
